The Reichert House Youth Academy was recently recognized as the National Community Policing Program of the Year. The award is given by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. The Reichert House will recieve the award on October 7th in Denver, Colorado.

20 Reichet House boys particpated in the Mike Peterson football camp at Citizen's Field this past Saturday.
6.25.09 - Reichert House Visits Bethune-Cookman University
Reichert House took 45 young men to visit and tour Bethune Cookman University. Many young men were inspiried and motivated to increase their efforts in their academics.

5.27.09 - Reichert House Youth Academy Participants Put on a Horse Show at Madonna's Equestrian Academy
After months of practice at Madonna's Equestrian Academy, the young men from the Reichert House put on a show for their peers to show what they learned. Showing off their tricks of the trade, the young men and academy instructors held a thirty minute horse show. Five to six young men were paired up with horses from the Eqestrian Academy. Madonna's Equestrian Academy opened in 1999. Instructors teach children and adults how to care, saddle and ride the horses. Owner, Madonna Bynum says,"To see that they could take a skill with them that they can keep for the rest of their life and go and share with someone else".
